Dear KICT CFT participants,
Welcome to unit 6 on ICT tools to support Project Based Learning. We wish to congratulate you first for making it this far. It is our hope that you enjoyed interacting with the five units you have covered so far.
This unit will be facilitated from tomorrow Monday 29/03/16 to Sunday 6/3/2016. During this period, you will be expected to interact with all the learning materials availed for this unit, actively participate in the discussion and chat forums and submit your portfolio items/assignments promptly. The unit has two discussion forums, one chat on PBL design and the other one on overcoming challenges. You are expected to actively contribute in the two forums throughout the week. In addition, it is proposed that we have our chat session on 2/03/2016 from 1600 to 1700hrs (4.00 to 5.00pm) Kenyan time just like you have had in the previous units. You are also required to attend and actively contribute in the chat session. The topic of the chat is already provided on the platform to enable us do the necessary preparation especially research. Kindly see the Evaluation Criteria for Unit 6 Portfolio Assignment on the platform to enable you complete your assignment which you are expected to upload on the platform by the end of this unit.
