I hope this finds you well. As we begin Unit 5, I would like to commend you all for the tireless efforts you made in order to succeed in Unit 4. Yes, it was a tough unit, but the team work and comradeship was impressive! It enabled many who would otherwise have given up to sail through. May you keep the fire burning to the end of the Course. Those who are yet to submit their Portfolio assignments, please do so ASAP. Remember the assignments are marked out of 60. Therefore, if you don’t do an assignment, you automatically fail the Unit.
The theme for Unit 5 is still Pedagogy and in the Unit, we’ll be exploring how ICT Supports Collaboration and Communication. The following are activities for Unit 5:

Remember that in the discussion forum, you are expected to do your own posting, as well as respond to at least two (2) of your colleagues’ posts. By the way, please note that even the discussion forums and chats have marks.
As usual, we’ll have our Chat on Wednesday at 4-5pm Please prepare for it. We also need volunteers for moderation and summarization. Who will it be this week?
Once again I’d like to remind you to always ensure you go through the ‘Evaluation Criteria for the Portfolio Assignments’ before you attempt the assignment. This allows you to be in line with what is expected of you. Ensure that you also internalize the Unit competencies and objectives.
