The curriculum has incorporated emerging issues especially in health sector i.e HIV & AIDS pandemic. With the rapid spread of this disease , most of the school going children are affected other directly or indirectly. The ones who are affected directly feel that their right to privacy has been infringed. Moreover the anti retroviral drugs that are offered in health facilities requires one to be registered so that these children can access medical attention anywhere. This i feel traumatises the child so much.
Back in school some of these children succumb to opportunistic diseases .This raises unnumbered questions by teachers tracking health background of the child. I believe that such incorporation makes children believe that they have lost grip moral values.
