The discussion was kicked off by the Admin after members had exhausted discussing on online experience. The following points were highlighted by the members on their role in the online experience from the discussion that ensured.
- Be on online and comment on ensuing discussion
- Nudge the slow by use of email
- Give activities with immediate feed back
- Maintain news forum
- Set date for discussion in advance with a reminder before the day of the chat
- For large groups divide into small groups
- Set time limit
- Provide other forms of contact i.e. G-mail group for feed back
- Record a message relating to their progress
- Use and update regularly ‘courses news’ box at the top right hand corner of the screen
- Use audio visual device introduction
- Learner support services
- Assessment explanation and frequent post check
