To enhance the quality of online presence, I believe the facilitator should:
- Be available online at regular intervals
- Make follow-ups especially on individuals whose online presence could hardly be felt
- Pose questions that invoke higher order thinking without necessarily providing forum members with solutions
- Strive to use clear examples
- Ensure that you add positive value to the learning community when making his/her contributions online
- Watch out on his/her tone when online
- Use variety of tools like: flickern instagram, email, whatsapp, skype etc to enhance quality of interaction when online.
